Easter 2012

Sunday, April 8, 2012:  If Christmas Eve is hushed, reverent and introspective, then Easter is its celebratory opposite.  The service takes place at 9:00 AM in the full light of the day with the triumphant pronouncement of Jesus Christ’s Resurrection. Once again, the performing forces of Choir and Orchestra assemble to give voice to the triumphant music that speaks to our hope of life everlasting.  This year, we performed selections from Handel’s brilliant “Messiah.”  Below is the YouTube playlist of the music and sermon from this year’s Easter Sunday Service at 9 AM.  A special “Thank You” goes out to all who made this service special and possible by giving of their time and talent or by supporting Snowmass Chapel’s Music Program.  If you are a singer or orchestra musician looking for performing opportunities, please use the “contact” page on this website and let me know that you want to be included in my mailing list.
